Zest Education Centre provide highly skilled tutoring to pre-school, primary and secondary school students, both at their learning centre in Remuera, Auckland, and online.
Their website was in need of a refresh, both in design and functionality as the pandemic made online learning more important to their model.
SOLUTION
ninetyblack were tasked with creating a new website that better reflected their brand, communicated their services and courses better, and would help them to grow their base and visibility online.
We were also asked to create new stationery for use in their classes to support their students’ learning.
WEBSITE DESIGN
The existing Zest Education Centre was not modern enough to handle Zest’s new requirements for their online learning courses.
They also wanted to have a bright, modern website that was easy to use, ranked well in Google for people to find out about them, and provide functionality for their online tutoring services.
We designed and developed a fun, fresh website, and integrated it with a new tutoring portal. Content was also overhauled alongside technical SEO for search engine optimisation, increasing site health scores from 71% up to 90%.

BRANDED STATIONERY
We created two different notepads for Zest’s students to use in their tutoring classes – one for juniors, and one for seniors. Zest Education Centre wanted their junior students to be able to use their notepads for maths, so gridlines and other useful tools for mathematics calculations were added to the design.
We also designed matching pens and pencils for the students to use. This enables Zest to provide essential tools to students while maintaining their sense of belonging at the centre.
